The challenge
Our client began the brownfield renovation and expansion of a large industrial water treatment plant. The project required finding the most cost-effective and reliable solution while the plant continuously produced and supplied water to manufacturing technology. The renovation and expansion touched many critical water management elements: reservoir, pressure-boosting pump house, fire water supply pump house, disinfection unit, iron and manganese removal, and softened water production unit.
Our approach
Results
The preparation phase demonstrated our ability to optimize complex industrial water treatment systems. Through thorough preparation and planning, the new water plant is expected to operate reliably with significantly less energy and lower staffing.
Key outcomes
Detailed condition assessment report enabling informed decision-making
Definition of new energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technological elements
Preliminary risk analysis completed
Investment cost estimation and expected return on investment prepared
Tender process documentation prepared
Key lesson
Engineering preparation fees pay back many times over through carefully planned investment processes.
